IREM Boston Honors Outstanding Industry Leaders at Awards Ceremony

The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) Boston Metropolitan Chapter No. 4, honored six individuals on Dec. 29 for outstanding service and installed four new members during the recent IREM Boston Annual Holiday Celebration held at Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy.

Doreen M. Donovan of Peabody Properties was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award for her significant contributions to the New England real estate industry by establishing a lasting impact on the industry, demonstrating a lifetime of commitment to advancement of the industry, and serving as an inspiration to industry practitioners.

Scott Michael Chakoutis of Trinity Management Company was honored as CPM of the Year for meaningful impact to his profession.

Recognized as Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) of the Year was Carolina Sholl of Peabody Properties for her outstanding dedication and commitment to the affordable housing industry.

The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Individual Award was presented to Kimberly Parker, whose career in the property management industry spans more than three decades.

Maloney Properties was the recipient of the DEI Company Award for its dedication to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.

Patty Staples of BlueSky was named Friend of the Year for her diverse volunteer efforts and advocacy for bringing awareness, education, and overall visibility to the recovery community.

The following new IREM Boston Chapter members were also installed during the recent celebration: Javier Huerta, ARM of Beacon Communities; Waleska Estrada, ARM of Housing Management Resources; Cletus Onyechefule, ARM; and Brittany Monaghan, ARM of John Corcoran & Company.
