Island Outfitters, a purveyor of coastal-inspired and sustainable clothing, shoes and accessories for women and men, has opened at 19 Steeple Street in Mashpee Commons.

A family operated business for nearly three decades, Island Outfitters offers a complete line of popular brands including Helly Hansen, Holebrook, johnnie-O, Mahi Gold, OluKai, Ray-Ban, REEF, Vuori and Yeti.

“Mashpee Commons, a premier Cape Cod retail and entertainment destination, is an ideal location for Island Outfitters newest store,” said Gregory Hall, owner, Island Outfitters. “We are looking forward to offering a unique shopping experience at Mashpee Commons that also focuses on sustainability. Our specially curated in-store brands are not only popular and stylish, but reflect our commitment to sell made-to-last clothing in efforts to reduce and discourage the fast fashion culture.”

Island Outfitters also has locations in Osterville, Mass. and on Martha’s Vineyard, in addition to stores in Newport, Wakefield and Watch Hill, RI and Fairfield, Conn.

“We welcome Island Outfitters to Mashpee Commons,” said Krysten Kelliher, Marketing Director for Mashpee Commons. “Its unique southern New England coastal vibe and sought after brand offerings are a perfect complement to the eclectic mix of local independent and national retailers at Mashpee Commons.”
