Rockland Trust has received the J.D. Power Award for ranking No. 1 in New England in the J.D. Power 2022 U.S. Retail Banking Satisfaction Study. The bank also achieved the highest score in New England in the factors People, Trust, and Problem Resolution.
“It is a tremendous honor to be recognized by J.D. Power and our customers for our quality of customer satisfaction,” said Robert Cozzone, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Consumer & Business Banking. “We have worked especially hard over the last couple of years to provide stability, advice and care for our customers amid the challenging circumstances we’ve endured together as a community. This recognition is a testament to the strong relationships our colleagues have built with the individuals and families we’re fortunate enough to serve. “
This is the third time the bank has been recognized by the global market research company, having previously received the top ranking in New England in 2017 and 2012. Rockland Trust was able to achieve the highest customer satisfaction ranking while welcoming and onboarding many new employees and customers following its acquisition of East Boston Savings Bank in November 2021, Cozzone noted.
“Without a doubt, our employees are, and always will be, the foundation for all of our success,” said Cozzone. “We are grateful that our customers have afforded us this opportunity to recognize and celebrate the incredible satisfaction our colleagues provide with this prestigious and meaningful award!”
Now in its 17th year, the J.D. Power U.S. Retail Banking Satisfaction Study is the longest-running and most in-depth study of the domestic retail banking industry, with customers evaluating various aspects of their banking experience.
