JML Care Center recently earned the U.S. News & World Report designation of a Best Nursing Home for 2022-23 in their annual review of skilled nursing facilities.
JML Care Center earned this recognition through U.S. News & World Report’s evaluation of more than 15,000 nursing homes nationwide and is among the elite 16 percent of skilled nursing facilities that received a “High Performing” rating for short-term rehabilitation. The national accolade is given only to those homes that satisfy U.S. News’ assessment of key services and consistent performance in quality and safety measures.
The annual Best Nursing Homes ratings, now in their 13th year, assist prospective residents and their families in making informed decisions in consultation with their medical professionals about where to receive short- term nursing home care.
The Falmouth-based nursing home serves a broad range of medical needs, including intensive rehabilitation following cardiac surgery or stroke and post-hospital care for orthopedic patients in addition to long-term skilled nursing. The center offers personalized treatment plans and improved outcomes.
The ratings of best short-term care facility include data on staffing, success in preventing ER visits as well as various quality measures, including consistency of registered nurse staffing and fall preventions.
