Outer Cape Health Services (OCHS) today announced that Ms. Kathleen Weiner, CFRE, of Harwich has joined the organization as Chief Development Officer. Ms. Weiner brings more than 25 years of experience leading development, sales and client services activities in a successful, privately held corporation to her new role at OCHS. During her previous tenure, she supported a diverse group of major regional and national nonprofits from Hawaii to Massachusetts. She earned her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) certification in December 2012, and was recertified in 2015.
“Kathleen has already added great depth and insight into our development and marketing efforts,” according to Patricia Nadle, OCHS CEO. “We are fortunate to have her join the development and senior leadership team at such an exciting and important time for OCHS.”
“Given the vital role that OCHS plays in the lives of Outer and Lower Cape residents and visitors, I simply could not have asked for a more meaningful opportunity to serve the region that my family and I also call home,” said Ms. Weiner. She and her husband have two adult daughters who each serve the healthcare community.
Ms. Weiner joins Outer Cape Health Services as it begins a period of significant growth and expansion targeted at meeting the unmet need for healthcare on the Lower and Outer Cape.  Plans call for the development of a new location for the health center in Harwich that will triple its current capacity, as well as significant renovations or replacement of the aging Wellfleet health center.
