Keating Joins Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance

Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, recently announced that Jacqueline Keating, PT, DPT has joined the professional staff at the Hanover and Scituate clinics.

A resident of Weymouth, Keating is a graduate of Colby-Sawyer College in New London, N.H., where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. At Colby-Sawyer, Keating was also a four-year member of the women’s volleyball team. She completed her post-graduate studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences where she earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. While attending Colby-Sawyer, Keating worked with a variety of athletic programs within New Hampshire, including collegiate men’s and women’s basketball, collegiate women’s and men’s lacrosse, and at Kearsarge Regional High School.

During her time at MCPHS, she gained experience working in a variety of settings including multiple outpatient clinics and an acute care hospital. During these clinical experiences, she was able to work with a variety of patient of all ages; including patients with various musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and developmental pathologies.

Keating was introduced to the field of physical therapy after suffering an injury of her own while playing volleyball in her sophomore year of high school. She enjoyed her time at physical therapy so much, that she returned to the clinic as a Clinic Aide. She continued to shadow at various outpatient clinics and at South Shore Hospital to gain more experience in the field prior to starting her undergraduate studies. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. 

One of her specialties is treating those with post-concussion symptoms and vestibular conditions.
