Love Live Local kicks off their 10th season of their tri-annual Love Local Fests at Aselton Park in Hyannis on July 31, gathering the community to celebrate all that makes Cape Cod so unique: local makers, local musicians, locally crafted food and beverages and a gorgeous water view of Hyannis Harbor.
The 2022 Love Local Fests take place on the last Sundays in July and September from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Aselton Park and the first Saturday in December on the Hyannis Village Green. This year’s Fests are sponsored by Cape Cod 5 and True North Events Rentals.
The events feature more than 80 local artists, artisans and brands who pop-up for the day, as well as food trucks and a craft beverage garden featuring libations from Cape Cod Beer, Devil’s Purse Brewing Company and Truro Vineyards.
“For 10 summer seasons we have worked hard to create an event that fosters a distinct sense of community and place, while also sharing messages about the importance of supporting small business to our local economy,” said the organization’s CEO, Amanda Converse.
The event has also provided an important opportunity for hundreds of local artisans from across Cape Cod to connect to customers and to each other.
The event is family-friendly with a kid’s zone run by the Cape Cod Maritime Museum and local bands Jo & Co. (11:30 a.m.) and the Dirty Water Dance Band (2:30 p.m.) playing on the stage sponsored by Vivid Events and WOMR.
