Mashpee Chamber Board of Directors Appoints New Board Member

(Mashpee, MA) – The Mashpee Chamber of Commerce welcomes Nelson J. Andrews as its newest member to the Mashpee Chamber Board of Directors.
Nelson, who currently serves as the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe’s Emergency Management Director, brings 17+ years of combined Tribal, Federal, State and Local emergency management experience and cares deeply about building a more resilient Indian Country through preparedness and disaster recovery planning.

A Cape Cod native, Nelson’s professional journey began as a federal employee at FEMA in Boston then Herndon, VA, before returning to Cape Cod in April 2015 to begin his current role with the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe.
He serves as a Tribal Council Member, Chairman of the United South & Eastern Tribes Homeland Security/Emergency Service Committee, Vice President of the MW Community Development Corporation, and a Member of the FEMA Region I Regional Interagency Steering Committee.
