The South Shore Chamber of Commerce has welcomed Mass General Brigham as a “Pacesetter” in its Partnership Circle.

The region’s largest business organization, the South Shore Chamber is committed to making a positive impact on the business community by advocating for a fair and stable business environment and helping existing and future businesses and their workforce, thrive and grow. They rely on strong private sector leadership reflected in their Partnership Circle, which includes more than 50 other leading businesses.

“Our Mass General Brigham health care centers, formerly known as Brigham-Harbor Medical Associates, have been part of the South Shore community for over 25 years, with locations in Braintree, Hingham, Pembroke, Scituate and South Weymouth as a way to provide our patients care that is closer to home,” said Dr. Peter A. Grape of Mass General Brigham. “Mass General Brigham recognizes the important leadership role played by the South Shore Chamber of Commerce in the region’s economic development, and we are excited to participate in this initiative. The chamber understands the critical role that health care plays in that growth, and we look forward to supporting the Chamber’s multi-faceted efforts in that regard.”

“We sincerely appreciate Mass General Brigham stepping up at the level they have and are very pleased to have Dr. Peter Grape representing Mass General Brigham on our board of directors in our Partnership Circle,” said Peter Forman, President and CEO of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. “I encourage all local leaders to consider joining us as a partner and move our region forward together. There is no two ways about it: partners drive our mission to build a strong business climate which ultimately leads to the economic health and well-being of our region and its residents.”
