Mid-Cape Home Centers Hosts Grateful Gobble Giveback

With the COVID-19 pandemic and the increased demand and profound need for assistance at
local food banks , Mid-Cape Home Centers is hosting an event to raise funds for area food banks.

For the week of Thanksgiving, Nov. 23-28, in honor of Mid-Cape’s 125 years in business, the company will be donating $1.25 of every single customer purchase to local food banks for the holiday season.

Mid-Cape anticipates to make a donation of over $10,000 for the food banks from this
Gobble Giveback. Proceeds raised from this initiative will be divided among The Family Pantry of Cape Cod, Falmouth Service Center and Support the Soupman.

“The ongoing pandemic has hit all business differently including the lumber and building materials industry,” said Mid-Cape President Jack Stevenson. “We had a modest negative impact for a short period of time, then bounced back. We feel for the businesses that have not been able to open or operate regularly, from restaurants, to travel, to museums and everywhere in between. There are so many worthy causes, but it feels to me that food banks hit at our most basic necessity: feeding people in need.”
