Cape Associates Inc., with offices in Eastham, Chatham and Yarmouthport, is celebrating its 50th year in business in 2021 and has rebranded with a new logo.
The logo was drawn by the company’s founder, Lester F. Langhans Jr., and modeled after the original Eastham office at 345 Massasoit Road. Langhans, a World War II veteran and longtime builder, began the building company with five employees. The now third-generation family business includes 120 full- and part-time employees. Its services have expanded beyond custom building to remodeling, renovations, painting, property management and custom design and cabinetry. The company has received several PRISM awards. which recognize the finest projects and outstanding achievements of builders, developers, project owners, architects, land planners, marketing/advertising firms, interior designers, remodelers, and other professionals in the home building industry. In 2019 Cape Associates’ “Idea House” was featured on PBS’s “This Old House.”
