Mr. Monopoly is stopping by the John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum, 397 Main St, Hyannis, on Tuesday, July 18, at 10 a.m.

MonopolyTop Trumps USA, the American division of Winning Moves International, creators of classic games and puzzles, will debut MONOPOLY: Cape Cod in June 2024, under license from Hasbro, a toy and game company. The company is seeking well-established Cape Cod businesses and nonprofits to be part of this historic way to honor communities across the town.

MONOPOLY: Cape Cod Edition will replace the perennial board game’s famous Atlantic City squares, from Boardwalk to Park Place, with Cape Cod businesses, nonprofits and landmarks. The Cape Cod board will also include a customized Community Chest, Chance playing cards and MONOPOLY money.

“Cape Cod is just such a unique place, from its rich history and pristine shorelines to its fantastic restaurants and local businesses,” said Tim Barney, representative of Top Trumps USA. “Our goal is to try an encapsulate everything that makes Cape Cod a place that is so near and dear to locals and tourists’ hearts alike all in one game.”

To ensure the board captures all of the most essential elements of Cape Cod, Top Trumps is seeking recommendations from the public about which locations should be included as squares on the board.

Additionally, businesses and nonprofits have the opportunity to be part of the board for life. Public submissions and business inquiries can be sent to capecod@toptrumps.com for consideration.

MONOPOLY: Cape Cod Edition will be available in stores and online at retail partners, including CVS, Amazon and select local Cape Cod retailers, in June 2024. To learn more about MONOPOLY city experience boards, visit www.toptrumps.us.
