This donation will be applied to areas of greatest need and be used to sustain and expand program services and activities for the more than 20,000 households served by NHS. Webster Bank is one of the few but growing number of donors who have contributed unrestricted support to NHS and other nonprofit organizations. Unrestricted support is critical to nonprofits as it provides flexible resources that are needed to help maintain and advance their missions and programs.
NHS relies on a mix of public and private support to maintain operations, and having flexible support from Webster Bank makes the organization more nimble and able to provide more individualized support to the more than 20,000 households being served by NHS. “We have a wonderful relationship with Webster Bank,” said Robert Corley, CEO of NeighborWorks Housing Solutions. “Webster Bank invests their talent and resources in the community, and we are grateful to be able to partner with them again as we continue to expand our reach and services deeper into the community.”
