BROCKTON, MA,Media representatives are invited to the groundbreaking of Brockton South Transit-Oriented Development (TOD), a NeighborWorks Housing Solutions mixed-use, mixed income rental development project at 1200 Montello Street in Brockton on Thursday, February 29, at 10 a.m.
Brockton Mayor Robert F. Sullivan and Secretary Edward Augustus, of the Massachusetts Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities (EOHLC) are scheduled to attend the groundbreaking celebration.
Brockton South TOD, also known as 1200 Montello Street, will encompass 94 units of affordable housing and ground floor neighborhood-level retail space.
