Osterville Village Library is hoping to add to its endowment by selling a parcel of land it recently received as a donation.
The estate of the late Rev. Eleanor Panasevich, who passed away in July, donated the land located in the Seapuit area on Fox Island Road in Osterville. The listing price is $2.5 million for the parcel, which is over 4 acres. The proceeds from the sale will be added to the library’s endowment fund.
“We are profoundly grateful for this generous contribution from Rev. Panasevich’s estate.” said Library Board President Dr. Talida Flonta. “As we’ve listed the property with Sotheby’s International Realty, we’re filled with anticipation about the opportunities this land presents. It’s not just about the physical space, but how it will play a pivotal role in ensuring the sustainability of our beloved library. This monumental gift is a testament to the impactful work we undertake at OVL and the community we serve.”
