Partners Insurance Group, LLC has announced the acquisition of Interstate Insurance and Finance Company in Tiverton, R.I.
The agency has retained its staff of Interstate’s four professionals.
Established in 1936, Interstate Insurance and Finance Company is a third-generation, family operated firm that has served Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts for 85 years.
The company was founded by John E. Ibbotson and Ernest E. Lake; Ibbotson was the grandfather of the firm’s present-day principals Robert Hartnett, Bethann H. Allcock, Susan Gustafson and Cheryl Hartnett.
