P&B To Begin Woods Hole and Falmouth Station Bus Service to Boston, Airports

Plymouth & Brockton Street Railway Company (http://p-b.com) announced that, effective Saturday, Aug. 14, the company will begin daily bus service from Woods Hole and Falmouth Station to South Station and Logan Airport in Boston, as well as service from Woods Hole and Falmouth Station to T.F. Green Airport (Rhode Island TF Green International Airport).

John Cogliano, president of Plymouth & Brockton, said that Plymouth & Brockton has secured licensing agreements from the Steamship Authority and the Falmouth EDIC, which enables P&B buses to pick up and drop off passengers at the Woods Hole Ferry Terminal and the Falmouth Station. 

“P&B bus service will include stops in Woods Hole, Falmouth Station, and Sagamore,” he added. From there, the bus will head directly to Boston South Station then Logan International Airport. In addition, we will provide daily bus service from Woods Hole to T.F. Green via New Bedford and Fall River.”

He continued, “We are very pleased to add these routes to our service. We believe there is a demand for the service and we are looking forward to providing this transportation option for residents of Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, and the Cape.”  

Presently, P&B’s Airport Express provides a new bus service from Hyannis with stops in Barnstable, Sagamore, New Bedford and Fall River, and the final destination at T.F. Green Airport in Warwick, RI. The route runs regular round trips every day providing cost effective and faster service to the airport. Also, P&B has a long established bus route from Hyannis to Boston and Logan Airport which makes stops on the Cape and the South Shore.
