Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, has opened a new clinic at 1528 Tremont St. in Duxbury.

This is Peak’s fourteenth clinic on the South Shore since opening their first in Norwell in 2007. The 3,000-square-foot space has been renovated to create the clinic space. Curt Eberhart, PT, DPT, OCS, who was a physical therapist at the Pembroke clinic, has been named Clinic Manager of the Duxbury clinic.. Marielle Francis has also joined Duxbury as the Office Manager; she was previously the Office Manager in Braintree Pediatrics.

Eberhart graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University in New Orleans, Louisiana in 2014. Prior to that, he received his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from LSU in 2009. He started his career as a travel physical therapist which allowed him to gain experience in a multitude of areas, such as pediatrics, home health, acute care, and orthopedics. Since 2015, he has concentrated on treating orthopedic and sports injury patients. His continuing education has been focused in both of these areas which allowed him to gain his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification in 2019.

“We are pleased to expand our services with our fourteenth clinic in Duxbury,” said Eric Edelman PT, founder and CEO of Peak Physical Therapy. “Duxbury is a great active community with excellent sports and outdoor recreation areas making it a great fit for our programs.  We will offer a full range of treatments and we look forward to being a part of this vibrant community.”
