Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance recently raised $2,141 for the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) as part of their continuing their Give Back initiative where each month one employee selects a charity and Peak donates money based on the number of patients seen at each clinic.

Peak staff members raised $725 for the cause by participating in a 5K in Plymouth. Peak donated the additional $1,416 through their December Give Back program.

Peak Team NAMI is dedicated to improving the lives of millions of American affected by mental illness. NAMI provides ongoing awareness, education and advocacy efforts, including initiatives such as expanding NAMI Help Lines hours and services; advocating for a better crisis response system; developing resources for youth and young adults; and updating their educational materials to better address the needs for underrepresented communities.

“Congratulations to the Peak team for their hard work and dedication in raising money for this important cause,” said Eric Edelman, PT, owner of Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance. “So many families are affected by mental illness and are suffering. More resources are needed to assist people especially during these isolating times. Our team takes great pride in giving back and making an impact to assist people in need.”
