Pleasant Bay Community Boating will be holding its Annual Sailabration Gala and Auction at the Wequassett Resort and Golf Club, 2173 Route 28, Harwich Wednesday, June 29, at 5:30 p.m.
Cape Cod 5 is the Presenting Sponsor of this year’s Sailabration Gala.
The gala will include hors d’oeuvres, a carving station, cheese and antipasto table, raw bar with oysters and littlenecks and assorted desserts. Complimentary wines from Truro Vineyards and local beers will be served.
A pair of inflatable paddleboards with “all the fixings” and an electric pump, valued at $1,500, to be raffled off at $100 per ticket with only 100 tickets to be sold. In addition, a Heads or Tails Contest will be held on the evening of the event with a PBCB Season Boat Pass as the prize. Chances are $20 each.
The evening will also include a Fund-A-Need to support PBCB’s programming and community outreach, adaptive sailing programs, the speaker series, and scholarships to community members in need of financial assistance.
This year’s silent auction will begin online Wednesday, June 22, and close at noon Thursday, June 30.
