Plymouth G Pub is celebrating Nutrition Month from March 3 through 10 with a special promotion,  “Great Food, Greater Good”  featuring locally sourced food, wine and beer, and heart-healthy dining specials, while giving back to local community.

During this week first responders will get 15 percent off all food when showing a valid ID or badge.

G Pub’s nutrition week is in partnership with the Plymouth Area Chamber of Commerce’s Local Eats Week, an annual event promoting local restaurants, breweries, bakeries, wineries and their week-long specials

G Pub’s heart-healthy specials include Ratatouille Salad, Tuna Poke and a Grilled Fish Taco (see website for more info). Ten percent from each special sold will be donated to Beth Israel Deaconess-Plymouth Hospital and its Cardiovascular Department.

On March 7, G Pub will welcome the mobile blood bank from Cape Cod Healthcare from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. While all blood types are needed, Cape Cod Healthcare is currently running short on Type O Negative. Anyone interested in donating can sign-up at https://srt.capecodhealth.org/donorportal/.  G Pub is offering the first 10 donors a $10 gift card upon completion.  The restaurant will be open at regular hours starting at 3 p.m., while bathrooms will be open for donors at 11 a.m.
