The machine expands PDE’s commitment to automation and opens new market opportunities for uber-precise parts manufacturing. The 2600M allows PDE to tackle larger manufacturing challenges, tighter tolerance requirements and adds to its existing lights out production capability.
Precision Design Engineering CEO Ron Gerace said that the DN Solutions 2600M is one of the most advanced on the market, with tolerances down to a ten-thousandth of an inch and automation including raw material feed, parts collection and, coupled with a the company’s Universal UR10e cobot, is robot-enabled. The addition of this latest machine will enable PDE to handle larger parts in its design and manufacturing.
