PwC’s Anthony Abbatiello to Speak at Tech Council’s May First Friday

Focus will be on GenAI’s role in transforming HR

April 24, 2024 (Cape Cod, MA) – The Cape Cod Technology Council is continuing its series on AI with its First Friday in May, when it will welcome PwC Workforce Transformation Practice Leader Anthony Abbatiello of Provincetown. He will focus on generative AI and its potential to change HR and the employee experience.

Abbatiello has led PwC’s human capital consulting business, delivering HR transformation, change management, organizational development, and rewards services to CEOs and CHROs across sectors and functions. He has more than 25 years of leadership and HR experience in advising companies across a number of industries, working as a trusted advisor on senior executive performance, transformational leadership, employee experience, and succession management.

Prior to PwC, he led the global leadership advisory business for Russell Reynolds Associates. He is an adjunct professor at New York University, teaching graduate courses in organizational assessment and analysis. He is also an opinion columnist for CEOWORLD magazine.

He is a sought-after speaker who has appeared on the HR Happy Hour Network and At Work in America podcasts and presented at last year’s HR Technology Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas. He was named an HR Trendsetter by the Society for Human Resource Management and a 2023 Top 25 Human Capital Consultant by The Consulting Report.

Abbatiello has a bachelor’s degree in international business and business administration from Villanova University.

May’s First Friday talk is the latest in the Tech Council’s ongoing AI series which started last fall and has covered everything from military defense to ChatGPT.
