The raffle, held in memory of store founder John J Pendergast Jr., received a generous response and participation by Cape Cod Package Store’s customers, a $2,500 donation was made to the Cape Cod Resilience Fund. These funds will assist in providing direct grants to local restaurant owners, who are experiencing challenges during the pandemic.
The Cape Cod Resilience Fund, a collaboration between Love Live Local and the Hyannis Main Street Business Improvement District with help from the Cape chambers of commerce, provides direct grants to small business owners on Cape Cod to offer economic relief from financial hardships caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
