Riverview Bait & Tackle is celebrating its 50 years in business with “Cheers to 50 Years,” a day of special events taking place Saturday, Aug. 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its location at 1273 Route 28, South Yarmouth.
All sales and monies raised from the day will be distributed to four local nonprofits that the business supports year-round: Friends of Bass River, Reef Project, Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance and Dream Day on Cape Cod.
The four nonprofits will give presentations about their efforts and other presentations will be on fresh and salt water fishing, from product to tying flies.
