Road to Responsibility (RTR; http://roadtoresponsibility.org), which supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, has announced that Leslie Bowdring Stanwood of Hingham has been appointed to its Board of Directors.
In this capacity, she, along with other members of the board, will assist in overseeing the direction of the organization that for 35 years has provided the means, the opportunity, and the support necessary to allow citizens with disabilities to take their place as productive members of the community.
Stanwood is an Executive Vice President and a Senior Global Relationship Manager with the Zurich Insurance Group, with managerial responsibility for all aspects of her global customers including relationship building, strategic planning, and global Zurich Financial Group coordination.
“RTR is very fortunate to have Leslie join our board,” said George Ford, Chairman of the Road to Responsibility Board of Directors. “She brings an extraordinary depth of experience from the national insurance industry and is a welcome addition.”
