The Sandwich Recreation Department is seeking motivated, responsible individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in a variety of roles in the field of municipal recreation this summer.
Applications for the following seasonal positions, with salary range indicated, are now being accepted:
- Beach Supervisor, May–Labor Day, $19 -$22/hour (must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license)
- Gate Attendants, May–Labor Day, $14 -$15/hour (must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license plus transportation)
- Head Lifeguard, June–Labor Day, $17–$19/hour (must be 16 or older; housing may be provided)
- Lifeguards, June–Labor Day, $16–$18 (housing may be provided)
- JR Lifeguards, June–Labor Day, $13.50-$14.50/hour (must be 14 or older)
- Water Safety Instructor, July–August, $16.50-$18/hour (must be 16 or older)
- Head Sailing Instructor, July-August, $16.50–$18/hour (housing may be provided; must be 18 or older)
- Sailing Instructor, July-August, $14.75–$16/hour (must be 16 or older)
- All Day Fun Program Assistant Director, May-August, $20.75–$22/hour
- All Day Fun Program Nurse, May-August, $27/hour (housing may be provided)
- All Day Fun Program Kayak Instructor, June-August, $16.50-$18/hour (housing may be provided; must be 18 or older)
- All Day Fun Program Art Instructor, June-August, $16.50-$18/hour (housing may be provided; must be 18 or older)
- All Day Fun Program Counselors, June-August, $16.75-$18.25/hour (must be 18 or older)
- All Day Fun Program Jr. Counselor, June-August, $14.50-$16/hour (must be 16 or older)
- Recreational Program Supervisor, May-August, $19-$22/hour (must be 18 or older)
- Recreation Summer Internship, May-August, $13.50/hour (housing may be provided)
