Schiess Named Director Of Development For South Shore Habitat

South Shore Habitat for Humanity (http://sshabitat.org), has named Tamar Schiess as Director of Development.

A resident of Duxbury, Schiess brings more than 20 years of fundraising experience working with a diverse group of nonprofit organizations. She has assisted organizations in meeting their fundraising goals through capital campaigns, grant writing, stewardship, major gifts and planned giving.

Schiess earned a bachelor of arts from Tufts University and a MBA in Public and Nonprofit Management at Boston University. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Women in Development, Council for Advancement and Support of Education and The New England Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.
