SCORE Cape Cod is presenting a webinar geared to nonprofits titled “Collaboration: Partnering with Others to Achieve Your Mission,” on Thursday, Dec. 16, at 9 a.m.
The webinar will discuss the different types of partnerships and forms of collaborations that can strengthen the work of nonprofit organizations. Participants will explore how to test the environment for working collaboratively, choosing partners; learning about your strengths and theirs; building trust; practicing collaborative governance and measuring the impact of your collaborative efforts.
Facilitator will be Susan Chandler, a Certified Mentor with SCORE. Chandler, an Orleans resident, is a retired professor emeritus. She has taught in the areas of social work and social welfare policy; public administration, public policy and nonprofit management. She was the Director of the State of Hawaii’s Department of Human Services for eight years.
