Seaside Bridal Couture, 187 West Main St., Unit B, Hyannis, will hold its grand opening event from May 14 to 16 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Owner Melane Wayburn was previously bridal manager at Sposabello Bridal in Hyannis for eight years before the shop closed after 18 years in business last December. Prior to that, she spent many years working in the garment industry, focusing on manufacturing and production.
Wayburn offers one-on-one, customer-focused service and alternations. The shop carries bridal, bridesmaid and prom gowns plus mother of the bride dresses.
The three-day Grand Opening features giveaways including two $200 gift cards toward the purchase of a wedding dress, two free tuxedo rentals and more. There will also be informal modeling of wedding gowns, bridesmaid and mother dresses and prom gowns.
Wayburn, a native of The Philippines, is graduating this spring from the EForAll Business Incubator Program, a mentoring program for entrepreneurs.
