Cape Cod Commercial Fishermen’s Alliance’s Meet the Fleet event will feature fishermen Kurt Martin and Lara Slifka and chef Tyler Hadfield of The Barley Neck in Orleans on Wednesday, Sept. 20, at 5 p.m. Nauset Marine East, 235 Main St., East Orleans.
Enjoy refreshments and a tasting of scup as you learn about the scup fishery from Martin and Slifka.
Meet the Fleet events are held throughout the year, designed to deepen your appreciation of the Cape’s local seafood and the fishing industry. Each program is unique, featuring different seafood species, recipes and fishermen.
