2022 South Of Boston Summit Scheduled For April 6, 12, 13

The South Shore Chamber of Commerce and the New England Real Estate Journal are hosting the fifth annual South of Boston Summit. This three-part series will take place virtually April 6 and April 12 and will end with an in-person networking event on April 13.

The summit will include a collection of some of the region’s industry leaders on topics including recovery in the suburban commercial real estate market, current development hotspots, developer project updates, market and sector specific trends.

Session One will be held virtually on April 6 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and will discuss suburban market recovery. The session will dive into how the South Shore CRE market has responded to COVID; acquisition trends; examining existing office & commercial space; as well as some insights into commuter and regional transportation patterns and the MBTA multi-family zoning requirements. Speakers include Ashley Lane, Senior Vice President, Research, Perry CREMike Ruh, Director of Acquisitions and Financing, Fox Rock Properties; Dave Ellis, Managing Partner, Ellis Realty Advisors; Denver Gibbs, Gibbs Software Solutions & Local Leads 365. The session will be moderated by Peter Forman, President & CEO, South Shore Chamber of Commerce.

Session Two will be held virtually on April 12 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. and will offer a Community Spotlight on Weymouth with Mayor Robert Hedlund followed by project updates from Hanover Crossing, Kingston Collection, Banner Park (Braintree) and Paragon Dunes (Hull).
