South Shore Chamber Lists Restaurants Offering Takeout, Delivery

EAT South Shore, in partnership with the South Shore Chamber of Commerce (www.southshorechamber.org), is providing updated information regarding regional restaurants and breweries on hours, options for food, gift cards and more at www.eastsouthshore.com during COVID-19 Restrictions.

The list of restaurants offering take-out, curbside pick-up or delivery will be updated as information is received and is subject to change. To date more than 42 restaurants are offering food options including some family style pick-up meals and daily meal specials. In addition, local breweries have options for can sales.

Also being offered is a Bingo game to encourage people to continue patronizing these businesses during this time. The Bingo card can be saved at EAT South Shore or the South Shore Chamber’s social media. The first three Bingo cards filled out and returned will win a gift card to EAT South Shore.

EAT South Shore provides a platform to bring awareness of the many outstanding dining establishments in the South Shore region.  Its goal is to promote the existing culinary scene, offer a support system for both established and new restaurant owners, and to encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship within the industry.

The EAT South Shore website provides visitors with detailed information about member restaurants to help diners make an informed decision; the website presently features restaurants from Quincy to Plymouth.

“We are fortunate here on the South Shore to have a vibrant restaurant scene,” said Peter Forman, president of the South Shore Chamber of Commerce. “These restaurant owners and employees are our neighbors, friends and are very generous to our communities. With no dine in option many have turned to take out options and we encourage everyone to support them during the mandatory restrictions that are in place for the health of our community.”
