Sullivan’s Castle Island is set to open a 6,000-square-foot restaurant at Hanover Crossing, 1775 Washington St. (Route 53), in Hanover this month.
The new Hanover location will offer the same takeout service that customers are used to at the South Boston location, with the addition of indoor dining with a bar area and a patio where people can order a beer or a glass of wine with their meal.
First opened in 1951, Sullivan’s on Castle Island has been operated by four generations of the Sullivan family. Sullivan’s has a second location year-round location at Hub Hall at North Station in Boston.
“Sullivan’s is a Boston tradition that is a great addition to Hanover Crossing and the South Shore,” said Lloyd Sova, Vice President of Development with PREP Property Group. “The new restaurant space is beautiful and there is great excitement about their opening.”
