Get your tickets and mark your calendars for Thursday, June 22, when The Arc of the South Shore, a family-oriented, community-based nonprofit providing information, referrals, and community programs for individuals with disabilities, will host its 10th annual Summer Soiree.
To be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on the shores of Webb State Park in North Weymouth, the signature event will feature a full evening of gourmet food, specialty cocktails, live music, and unique auction items. The occasion will also showcase several of the individuals served by The Arc who will share their personal stories.
Last year, The Arc provided information, referrals, and community programming to 4,562 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism. The support of donors assists The Arc in delivering programs and safe, engaging opportunities to improve the health, safety, and independence of the individuals it serves.
“As it has for the past nine years, this amazing event brings together friends, new and old, who have supported The Arc of the South Shore, as well as the individuals who we proudly serve,” said Abigail Parrilla, CEO of The Arc of the South Shore. “We anticipate a larger than ever gathering this year – with everyone enjoying fine food, conversation, and much camaraderie under the twinkling lights of our incredible event tent.”
