The Children’s Center in Harwich, a nonprofit organization that provides quality child care services to families in the community, is celebrating its 30th birthday with a fun-filled party at the Harwich Cultural Center at 204 Sisson Road on June 11 from noon to 2 p.m. Entry is free and the event is rain or shine.

Among the highlights of the celebration are the Good Times Ice Cream Truck, Crazy Davy the Magician, The Chatham Squire Food Truck, a fire truck, antique car show and the Harwich Police Department touch-a-truck.

For those looking to get creative, the party will feature a face painting station  with Monomoy Regional High School students, a chalk station, and a bubble station. In addition, there will be many great raffle items available for visitors to win, including Charles Moore Arena skate passes, gift cards to local restaurants and retailers like The Seal, Impudent Oyster, The Squire, Jo Mama’s, The Salty Crown and a basket from Cape Cod 5. Attendees can also participate in a 50/50 raffle for a chance to win big.

“We are excited to celebrate our 30th anniversary with the community,” said Abigail Newberry-West, Director of The Children’s Center in Harwich. “Our organization has been committed to providing high  quality child care services to families for three decades, and we are grateful for the support we have received from the community over the years. We look forward to seeing everyone at the party!”
