The Children’s Center in Harwich Celebrates Birthday with Community Event

Free event to offer children’s activities, raffles, food trucks, ice cream and more
HARWICH, MA – The Children’s Center in Harwich, a non-profit organization that provides quality child care services to families in the community, is celebrating its birthday with a fun-filled party at the Harwich Cultural Center at 204 Sisson Road on June 9th from 12-2 p.m. Everyone and anyone are welcome! Entry is free and the event is rain or shine.
The party promises to be a fantastic event for families and children, featuring a variety of activities and attractions that everyone will enjoy. Among the highlights of the celebration are the Good Times Ice Cream Truck, Andale on Wheels, Amazin’ Gamin’ Video Game Truck and Touch a Truck hosted by the Harwich Police Department. For those looking to get creative, the party will feature two amazing face painters as well as backyard games and activities. In addition, there will be many great raffle items!
“We are excited to celebrate our birthday with the community,” said Abigail Newberry-West, Director of The Children’s Center in Harwich. “Our organization has been committed to providing high quality child care services to families for three decades, and we are grateful for the support we have received from the community over the years. We look forward to seeing everyone at the party!”
The Children’s Center in Harwich is a non-profit organization that provides early education and care to children ages 2.9 years to 5 years. The Center is dedicated to promoting the growth and development of children in a safe, nurturing environment. The Center is a part of the Harwich Ecumenical Council for Housing (HECH).
