The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod announced the appointment of Andrew Murphy as Vice President and Commercial Relationship Manager.
Murphy has worked in the banking industry for nearly three decades and brings experience in both retail and commercial banking. Most recently, he held the post of Business Banking Relationship Manager at Citizens Bank. He also spent part of his career as a Small Business Market Manager, providing guidance to more than 1,500 small business clients in the Boston region. In his new role with The Coop, Murphy will be focused primarily in Bristol and Plymouth counties, natural extensions of The Coop’s Barnstable County customer base and in step with its residential lending expansion into these markets.

Murphy received his Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. He and his wife, Emily, along with their four children, are residents of Norton. He’s an avid supporter of Habitat for Humanity, the Wounded Warrior Project, and the Greater Boston Food Bank.
