The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod has appointed Jonathan Sherwood as First Vice President, Commercial Relationship Manager to serve its growing roster of business clients throughout the region.
Sherwood, a Plymouth resident, is an accomplished finance professional who joins The Coop from Citizens Bank, where he served as a commercial lending specialist. He has also held senior-level business banking relationship roles at Bank of America and Santander Bank.
“Jonathan has an impressive record of success in commercial lending through a client-focused approach as a trusted advisor, outstanding communications skills and strong problem-solving ability,” said Lisa Oliver, Chair, president and CEO of The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod. “He will be a key member of The Coop team as we continue to expand our commercial client portfolio on the South Shore.”
Sherwood earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
