The Cooperative Bank of Cape Cod will celebrate its 100th anniversary from July 19 through July 24 by hosting special giveaways, treats and prizes at its branches.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate our 100th anniversary with our customers in person, especially after this past year,” said Sheryl Walsh, senior vice president, chief consumer and Small Business Banking officer. “We’re grateful to our customers for being there for us and helping us reach this milestone.”
The Coop was founded July 19, 1921, and is a mutual community bank serving residents of Cape Cod with headquarters in Hyannis and nine branches.
Customers can join the celebration by visiting any branch location from July 19 through July 24. Every day, each branch will give away a gift certificate from a local business.
Customers can also enter to win one of three special prize packages. The Grand Prize winner will receive a “Weekend in Provincetown” package including a two-night stay at Carpe Diem Guesthouse, dinner at The Pointe Restaurant, a year family membership to Pilgrim Monument & Provincetown Museum and a gift certificate to Kohi Coffee Co. The second prize winner will receive a “Nature Lover’s Delight” package that includes gift cards to Bike Zone of Cape Cod, Mass Audubon, Heritage Museum and Gardens and Hart Farm Nursery and Garden Center. Third prize is a “Foodie’s Dream” including gift cards to Cape Abilities Farm, The Cook Shop, The Marshside Restaurant and Lost Dog Pub. Winners will be announced after the week-long celebration.
