(SOUTH YARMOUTH, MA) – Thirwood Place in South Yarmouth, MA, Cape Cod’s premier active adult living community, has launched a new web-based television program focused on cooking and dining that will be available each month on multiple platforms.

“Taste of Thirwood with Chef John Payne” is dynamic video content that will highlight a new dish each month and include cooking techniques, wine pairings and more. The inaugural episode can be viewed at https://thirwoodplace.com/taste-of-thirwood.

The program is co-hosted by Thirwood Place Executive Chef John Payne and Thirwood Place Sales Executive Larry Lyford.

The dining experience in active adult and senior living communities is one of the most important amenities for residents, and for years, Thirwood Place has been known for creating a unique and delicious culinary environment.

“Taste of Thirwood with Chef John Payne” is going to bring that experience beyond Thirwood Place and give everyone a chance to see the high-quality kitchen creations served up each day, while also letting viewers learn how to make these epicurean delights.

“I can’t wait for people to see what we’ll be cooking up each month at Thirwood Place. After spending decades overseeing restaurants at some of Cape Cod’s most popular resorts and eateries, we’re bringing a fresh and exciting look to the all-important dining experience here at Thirwood Place,” said Thirwood Place Executive Chef John Payne.

Our monthly program will be available on www.thirwoodplace.com, YouTube, and Facebook,” said Matt Pitta, Director of Communication at The Davenport Companies, the South-Yarmouth based family-owned company that operates Thirwood Place.

“The continued popularity of television cooking shows has created a multi-generational interest in preparing restaurant quality food in the home. Our new program will reflect current tastes and trends when it comes to dining and show people the high level of culinary preparation that takes place at Thirwood Place,” said Pitta.

The recipes presented each month will also be available to the public for download at www.thirwoodplace.com and for residents of Thirwood Place as well.
