“This event is always a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together to celebrate all that HIT is doing to give back to service members, veterans, and military families in our region who sacrifice so much,” said HIT Executive Director Nicole Spencer. “Our work is not possible without the support of businesses and donors who believe in our mission, and who understand our programs are making a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.”

HIT was formed by Cyndy Jones and her late husband Kenneth after their only son, U.S. Marine Captain Eric A. Jones, died in a helicopter crash while flying a combat mission in 2009 in Afghanistan. The couple created HIT to honor Eric’s life, service, and sacrifice, growing the organization into one that assists over 1,400 individuals on an annual basis through over a dozen programs.

Current sponsors for this year’s Gala are Asset Management Resources; the Law Offices of Boyd & Boyd, P.C.; Cape Cod Retractable, Inc.; Devadigm; Dellbrook|JKS; and The Valle Group.
