Travel Industry Leader Robert Muehlich Named Director Of Operations At CBI

Robert Muehlich has been named Director of Operations at Chatham Bars Inn.

In this role , he will oversee the inn’s Food & Beverage, Beach, Pool, Waterfront and Boating Operations.

Muehlich is a graduate of Schweizerische Hotelfachschule, Lucerne, Switzerland, with a bachelor of science in Hospitality Management. In addition to opening the Watergate Hotel in D.C., as the director of Food and Beverage, he was the director of Food & Beverage at Miami’s famed Setai Hotel for six years and played a pivotal role in securing the property’s Forbes 5-Star and AAA 5-Diamond ratings. At The Setai Hotel, Muehlich was responsible for conceptualizing the existing restaurant where they achieved more than $14 million in revenue. Most recently, Muehlich was the executive assistant manager at The Willard Intercontinental in D.C., where he was charged with rebuilding and reorganizing the food and beverage division.

Muehlich is originally from Argentina and is fluent in six languages.
