Filed Under: Non Profit News, Philanthropy

The United Way of Greater Plymouth County will host an informational workshop for any nonprofit organization interested in applying for United Way funding for Fiscal Year 2023 (July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023). The workshop will take place Thursday, Jan. 13, 2022 from 9 to 11 a.m. in a virtual capacity on Zoom.  A snow date has been scheduled for Jan. 14.

All interested agencies, including first time applicants, are required to attend the workshop to be eligible for funding consideration.

For this round of funding, initiatives must pertain to the five LIVE UNITED Community Recovery areas of:

  • Feeding Our Families
  • Housing & Homelessness
  • Access to Affordable Health Services
  • Support for Children & Youth
  • Support for Job Training & Placement

Requests for funding should respond to the most urgent needs being faced by the community resulting from the long-term effects of COVID-19. United Way will be seeking innovative partnerships from the community’s most compassionate, charitable organizations in order to have the greatest positive impact on the lives of the most vulnerable families and individuals.

Request for Proposal packets will be available online following the workshop.

To attend, RSVP to Kim Scotland, Director of Community Relations & Marketing, United Way of Greater Plymouth County, at kscotland@uwgpc.org
