The OysterFest® is back!

The popular annual Wellfleet OysterFest, presented by Shellfish Tasting And Promotion (SPAT), will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 15 and 16 in a new location, Baker’s Field, 70 Kendrick Ave., Wellfleet. Tickets are limited and available in advance.

The Wellfleet OysterFest, in its 22nd year (the 20th in person), is a two-day, family-friendly festival celebrating oysters, clams, the legacy of shellfishing in Wellfleet and the town’s artful culture. The Fest offers live entertainment, the Oyster Shuck-Off competition, a spelling bee and a family fun area. Local shellfishermen and women will be stationed around the ‘fest shucking and selling Wellfleet’s famous oysters and clams all weekend. Those attending can enjoy fine arts and crafts vendors, local cuisine, beer and wine vendors, live music, educational non-profit tents and children’s activities. FREE parking is available with shuttles to the ‘fest from Lecounts, White Crest and Newcomb Hollow Beaches to the town center and festival grounds. Mayo Beach parking is reserved for Bookstore Restaurant, vendors, handicapped and Wellfleet Recreation only.
