As layoffs start to increase across the country, Whole Foods Market announced it was providing hourly employees with an additional $2 per hour through the month of April at its stores and facilities in the U.S. and Canada. In the U.K., part-time and full-time Team Members in the company’s stores and facilities will receive an additional 2£ per hour through the month of April.
The company employees more than 95,000 people, called Team Members, in stores and distribution centers in the U.S., Canada and the U.K.
