Wild Care To Host Wildlife Baby Shower On June 17

Wild Care is holding a Wildlife Baby Shower Saturday, June 17, from 1`1 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wild Care, 10 Smith Lane, Eastham.

The mission of the nonprofit is to help sick, injured and orphaned wildlife through rehabilitation; to reduce the number of animals impacted by human activity through educational outreach; and to help protect species and the ecosystems they represent, through advocacy and conservation.

Activities will include educational presentations with Wild Care’s Animal Ambassadors, guided tours of some outdoor enclosures and a peek inside the clinic window to see some of the baby animal patients. There will be information on pollinator gardens and guests will have the opportunity to plant a few seeds and take home seedlings to start their own native plant garden. There will be children’s crafts and activities, vegan cupcakes, party favors, and an ice cream truck.

Admission is free. Gifts from Wild Care’s Baby Shower Wish List (see here) will be accepted and guests bringing a gift will be entered to win a Wild Care gift basket filled with surprises including a full day kayak rental for four people.

More info about the event can be found here.
